Paul Russell is the founder of the company and has many years experience in providing sport psychology support to athletes, allowing them to perform consistently to their potential. Paul is a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society, and an accredited sport psychologist with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences. Paul was the lead sport psychologist at the English Institute of Sport, North- West region, where he provided sport psychology services to world class funded athletes competing at Olympic, World, and European level.

Paul has travelled world wide with these athletes providing competition support at over 15 international competitions. Paul has provided support to 6 Olympic Games medal winners, 3 world champions, and over 50 national champions, in a wide variety of sports.

As an academic Paul wrote one of the first undergraduate degrees in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Bolton where he is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director for the Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning. Paul has written over 30 articles on a variety of issues from exercise addiction to the psychological preparation of elite boxers, and has been invited to present his work at both national and international conferences. Paul is a regular feature writer for Fighting Fit, FitPro, and ptonthenet.

Paul receives regular requests from the media to discuss his opinions on sport and exercise psychology issues, appearing recently in The Observer, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Runner’s World, Boxing News and BBC radio. Paul has recently featured on Setanta Sports, commenting on sport psychology in football, and is currently filming some interviews with the BBC to be shown in the New Year. He is also currently writing his first book which is examining the psychological preparation of elite footballers.
